Applicants are invited to apply for a research scientist position. The primary responsibilities are to develop and implement in vitro cell-based immunological assays for the purpose of identifying and characterizing biological and synthetic immune response modifiers. Research will be focused on evaluating the effects of pathogen associated molecular patterns on the human innate immune system.
Primary activities:
• Maintenance of cell lines
• Performing QC biological potency assays
• Developing and validating new QC assays.
The individual is also expected to perform validation studies, perform routine assays, and write reports. As part of this activity, the individual is expected to develop and write standard operating procedures (SOPs).
