Cecily Hines Joins Biothera Board of Directors
EAGAN, MN — May 28, 2010 — Cecily Hines has joined the Board of Directors of Biothera, the immune health company. Ms. Hines is an attorney who has held senior positions at several Minnesota medical technology companies, including ev3, Boston Scientific and SCIMED Life Systems. She is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Minneapolis Parks Foundation.
"Cecily is a welcome addition to our board,” said Dan Conners, Biothera Chairman and Founder. “Her business experience and legal expertise will broaden the perspective of our board discussions.”
Ms. Hines is a former Vice President and General Counsel for ev3, a leading manufacturer of medical devices to treat vascular diseases. As General Counsel-International at Boston Scientific, she was responsible for international legal affairs in more than 40 countries. Previously, Ms. Hines was General Counsel for SCIMED Life Systems, which was acquired by Boston Scientific in 1995.
Ms. Hines received a bachelor’s degree from Smith College and a J.D. degree from Duke University School of Law.
